The space
The entrance to the property is 10 steps from the elevator - it has been renovated, changed from 2 to 4 suites, 3 of which are double suites, 2 with queen size beds and one with a king size bed. 100% cotton bed and bath linen / Beach and pool towels / Air conditioning 12,000 BTUs in all bedrooms and 18,000 BTUs in the living room. 1 exclusive covered parking space and other uncovered parking spaces available within the resort. Natural latex foam pillows and all spring mattresses. Washer and dryer and 10-service dishwasher on the balcony.

The kitchen is American-style and well equipped with pans, accessories, pots and utensils such as a mixer and blender, as well as plates, cutlery and glasses. The kitchen has a duplex fridge and a crispy microwave oven. On the terrace is the 5-burner cook-top and gas oven. The dinette has a counter for 4 people and a folding table at the end for two more. There is another seat on the inside of the kitchen and a bistro table on the terrace for 4 more. The living area has a sofa for 03 people and two puffs. Central water heating and bi pressurized water. All the showers are rain showers.
The living room has a 55-inch Samsung LCD TV and there are also TVs in suites 1 and 3. Private area of 101m2.
The ideal occupancy is 7 adults and 4 children/adolescents.
The property can accommodate up to a maximum of 11 adults and 3 children up to 11 years old or 10 adults and 5 children up to 11 years old.
Guest access
We are in a resort with an area of more than 98,000m2 made up of a hotel sector, a residential sector, a marina and a permanent environmental preservation area corresponding to 60% of the total area. Entrance is through the complex's security and is restricted to hotel guests, occupants of the residences and users of the Marina.
The entire Costabella complex has 24-hour security and continuous patrols day and night.
All of Costabella's outdoor areas are communal and shared... courts, swimming pools, beach, Play Ground, marina and gardens are open to all resort guests for free access and use, as are the hotel's internal communal areas such as the lobby, restaurant and bars, as well as the Marina's shopping center, where our second restaurant, Estrela do Mar, is located...
We have 2 beaches within the environmental reserve, one artificial in the private area of the reserve (Costabella Resort & Marina) and the other natural in the public area of the reserve.
One is inside the complex and is less than 2 minutes' walk from the properties.
The other is outside the resort but within our grounds, is a public beach and is part of the environmental reserve and is less than a 5-minute walk away.
The water quality of our two beaches and of the Caputera River, which forms an estuary right in front of Costabella, is monitored by a biologist who makes daily visits to check on the health of the ecosystem surrounding the resort.
Our paradisiacal swimming pool is right next to the beach and has 3,000m2 of water with bridges, islands, beaches and a wet bar that serves snacks and drinks and is staffed by two lifeguards.
In addition to the resort's own restaurants and bars, there are 3 beautiful and excellent restaurants on the nearby islands (no more than 7 minutes by Taxi-Boat) which offer a free transfer service to resort guests from the floating pier at the Costabella marina.
As we are INSIDE a reserve there is LOTS of wildlife everywhere. Capybaras come to drink water from our pool at dawn. We are in an area where nature is exuberant and wild... Micos, herons, toucans, maritacas and parakeets surround us and it's common to see flocks early in the morning and late in the afternoon. In our mangrove swamp, which is clean and healthy, many fish breed and live there and we have hawksbill turtles, which come there to breed and some of which have stayed there and live in the mangrove swamp and the sand on our beach is full of shellfish...
Once a day, bran is put out for the birds to eat and life shows itself in all its colors and songs in this little paradise!
Due to the abundance of fish, it's common to see schools of anchovies swimming in the water at night, fleeing from the sea bass attack...
It is forbidden to fish inside the reserve, but a little further out, a few paddles away, fishing is abundant and plentiful...

Other observations
In the bay of Ilha Grande you have 365 islands, 2,500 beaches and countless restaurants by the sea, the most charming historic city in Brazil (Paraty), which has become a world gastronomic hotspot with more than 800 restaurants, is only 80 km from the resort, we are 10 km from the center of Angra dos Reis where you can find all kinds of shops and the village of Japuíba is only 5 minutes away by car and offers in addition to ALL kinds of shops, medical services, emergency dentistry, gas stations and all kinds of technical services.
We've been going to Angra dos Reis for over 30 years and every time (with each new visit) we discover a new beach, a new creek you can paddle in, a new hidden cove, a bag we've never visited before or yet another beach with a creek and natural pools. It's one of the most beautiful places on the PLANET and it's impossible to describe the beauty of this place unless you've been there and tasted it in person... because it sounds like a lie...
But it's not, it's here in Brazil, within everyone's reach!
